The book is a study into sustainability and the food cycle for early readers and bee enthusiasts alike. The story tells of a young Ricardo who meets a Queen Bee in his abuela’s backyard, who educates him on the importance of pollination and conservation.

This is Chef Sandoval’s first children’s book, but he is notable for his work on two successful cookbooks: Modern Mexican Flavors and New Latin Flavors, both available on Amazon.

Illustrator
Born in Mexico City, at an early age he moved to the state of Oaxaca, where he lived all his childhood and studies. During his childhood playing with clay and drawing was his passion. Surrounded by artisans and farmers, he began to forge ideology and concept of life. In 2010 he entered the School of Fine Arts in the city of Oaxaca, where he began with a great artistic practice and coexistence with several artists and artisans.
At the same time he carried out several illustration and editing workshops at the Centro De Artes San Agustín, founded by maestro Francisco Toledo. He currently lives in the city of Chihuahua Mexico and works in the cenzontle workshop of art and creation. He currently makes illustration, mural, painting, xylografia and interventions in objects and public roads.
